As we prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends, we can all be grateful for the decreasing cost of that turkey dinner! According to the American Farm Bureau Federation’s survey, we will pay 5% less for those Thanksgiving feasts this year. In fact, the biggest grocery checkout item for dinner, the turkey, is down about 16% from 2024!

As the Pilgrims and Wampanoag did in 1621, we give thanks to the Lord for the gifts of the harvest and all blessings bestowed upon us, especially our families and friends. We also include in our blessings American farmers, ranchers, truckers, and grocers, for without them our tables would be bare.
