In the News…
In the last year more than 2 million migrants have entered the United States through the southern border.
In this fiscal year (since October 2021) there have been:
- 126,580 unaccompanied children who arrived in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California;
- 66 migrants apprehended who were on the terror watch list;
- 609 migrant bodies discovered (although more may have died and just weren’t found);
- 10,559 pounds of fentanyl were seized – more than 2 billion lethal doses!
This is a humanitarian crisis in our county like we’ve not seen in modern history. So, what happened to cause this disaster?
From the U.S. Customs and Border Control chart, it is very clear that the border crossings increased dramatically in 2021 over the prior two years. The policies employed by the current administration, including the lack of enforcement of our laws, endanger our citizens and the foundations of our country. We must demand better!
As G. K. Chesterton wrote, “It isn’t that they can’t see the solution. It is that they can’t see the problem.”
We are trying to make sure that they see and understand the problems. Join us in that mission!
